The sire of Ferryt,
WACHLARZ, is the first and most important son of the successful sire ARBIL
to be used in Polish breeding to preserve the precious blood of the desert-bred
KRZYŻYK imported by Count Dzieduszycki in 1871, foundation stallion of
Poland’s oldest continuous sire line renowned for distinctly masculine
and athletic stallions such as post-war foundation sire TRYPOLIS, British
National Champion BANAT, legendary racehorse KASZMIR as well as All Nations
Cup Champion and Polish Race Horse of the Year PIECHUR. A striking dappled,
dark bay with abundant type, an exotic head, a proudly carried, arched
neck, perfect balance and harmony of structure, a breed standard topline
and a powerful, floating stride, WACHLARZ is amazingly similar to Prince
Josef Poniatowski’s famous Arabian Stallion SZUMKA.
Tail female, WACHLARZ traces directly to the precious Michalow family
of foundation mare WADERA, whose daughter WERBENA (a personal favorite
of the Stud Director) distinguished herself internationally as the source
of several unforgettable show champions. The branch of Polish National
Champion WENERA, from which Wachlarz directly descends, is renowned for
exceptional beauty, superior dispositions, proficient athleticism and
natural show ring charisma. WENERA’s daughter WENEDA was named Swedish
National Champion at age 17 after establishing an important family of
daughters in Poland, including UK International Reserve Champion WIOLETA
and the unforgettable Polish National Top Five Mare and European Championships
class winner WENDETA, dam of four champions: Polish National Reserve Champion
WIPERA, Stakes winner WELUR, Italian National Champion Mare WERNERA and
Argentine National Reserve National Champion Stallion WAGRAM. Wachlarz’s
dam, the beautiful WARSOWIA, is a full sister to National Champions WAGRAM
and WERNERA and important broodmare at Haras Vanguarda in Brazil, where
she has already produced the exotic black international champion WALKYRIA
El JAMAAL and the Brazilian Top Ten Stallion SADEEK VAN RYAD.
Ferryt’s dam, the beguilingly beautiful, black FORTISSIMA, is a Polish
National Junior Champion Filly and a valuable broodmare at Michałów, with
Polish Chief Sire FRYDERYK to her credit. Intriguingly, FORTISSIMA is
linebred to both PROBAT and FATMA, the former a pivotal sire for Polish
breeding whose influence positively permeates the program, and the latter
an esteemed Oaks winner who left her lasting impact through her exemplary
produce, establishing herself as the best daughter of the legendary FORTA.
Both FAWOR and FANABERIA represent the best combination of sire and dam.
FANABERIA is still considered one, of the most beautiful and best producing
daughters of PROBAT. Her exemplary produce include: UK Regional Champion
FERRARI, Polish National winner FANTAZJA, and most importantly, Polish
