New Member ~ Dagnall Ranch ~ Canyon Creek, Montana

Introducing Dagnall Ranch Performance Horses. We are located in Canyon Creek, Montana. I am a veterinarian with a small animal practice in Helena and my husband operates our cow/calf operation and hay business.

We currently stand our 6 year old pure polish stallion TA Glacier (Kordelas x Gloria ). We are actively competing with him in reining. He is 2010 region 6 open Reining Champion, 2010 Region 6 Top 4 ATR reining, 2009 Region 9 Junior reining Champion, and was Top 10 US Nationals Futurity as a 4 year old.

TA GLACIER

We will go the US Nationals this year and compete in the ATR reining championship. We have shown him in the Novice horse, Stallion and Rookie classes at some local NRHA shows and he has placed as high as 2nd out of 13 in open competition. TA Glacier is sweepstakes nominated and SCID negative.

We also recently acquired Wilanko VO (Pegasus (Gazal al Shaqab x Pepsa (Eukaliptus) x Walentyna (Monogram x Wilnianka), he was imported from Poland in utero by Manny Vierra at Valley Oak Arabians. He is 2 1/2 years old and we are starting him under saddle. He will either be shown in reining or dressage/sporthorse. He is sweepstakes nominated, SCID is pending, and we plan to stand him as a stallion eventually.

OLES TANGO and ROSES APRIL RAIN

We also are showing in Dressage at SportHorse Nationals 2010 with our homebred gelding, Oles Tango (Rstar Native Dancer x Oles Rainbow). Tango has also had a successful 2010 endurance season with (5) 50 mile starts and 5 top ten finishes. He is part polish bred.

Our homebred 7/8 Arabian mare Roses April Rain was 2009 US National HA 50 mile Champion, 2010 Region 6 HA 50 mile Champion, and we will compete again at the 2010 US Distance Nationals. April is also part polish bred. She has over 1300 competition miles with many top 10 finishes.

I have been competing in endurance for over 20 years. I have always loved Polish Arabians for their athleticism and temperament. Working Western and Dressage/Sporthorse are more recent interests. We also raise a few reining/cowhorse Quarterhorses. We have some young and older started endurance, dressage and reining prospects for sale.

TA Glacier has been bred to 3 part polish Arabian mares for 2011. The foals will be sweepstakes nominated.

News from Toskhara Arabians ~ Aubrey, Texas

TA MONET+/ (Gazal Al Shaqab X Marieta by Arbil) 2004 stallion bred by Michalow State Stud and imported, owned, trained and shown by Toskhara Arabians has been awarded the Legion of Honor.

Since winning he has continued to perform at a very high level. At Region 14 he was named Reserve Champion in Sport Horse Show Hack, Level 1 Dressage and Level 2 Dressage.

He followed this up this past weekend at Region 9 Sport Horse Championship by winning the Championship in Sport Horse Show Hack, Level 1 Dressage and Level 2 Dressage. He is trained and shown by Wendye Gardiner.

He will be showing in these three classes at Sport Horse Nationals. TA Monet demonstrates that high levels of athleticism and trainability are part of the modern Polish horse just as they have been through the decades.

He has his first foal crop in 2010 and they are of high quality.

News from Toskhara Arabians ~ Aubrey, Texas

We sold TA TIRAN (Algonkwin X Tiranda by Bandos) to Heather Reynold's a well know endurance trainer and rider in California last year. We just got an email from her that we wanted to share.

TA TIRAN won the Shine and Shine Only FEI 75 ride held last weekend near San Jose. Not only did he win he was also Best Conditioned. Here's what Heather had to say about him.

"Tiran not only won but was awarded BC as well. He is turning out to be pretty amazing. (This was his third endurance ride.)"

Another example of the athletic prowess of the Pure Polish horse.

Toskhara at Scottsdale

It is our belief that one needs to test ones breeding stock in athletic endeavors as part of the evaluation process for selection. This is in keeping with the Polish Tradition. It is also commercially sound to prove that ones horses are competitive in the show ring.

Toskhara horses competed in several different disciplines at the 2010 Scottsdale All Arabian Show.

REINING

TA GALLIPOLI (Kordelas X Gloria by Eukalitptus) was standing 6th in the Futurity Reining but had to withdraw because of a badly bruised foot suffered while at Scottsdale. If he had duplicated his first go in the 2nd he would have easily have made the Top Ten a real accomplishment for a four year old competing against mostly 5 year olds. Both Kordelas and Gloria were bred and foaled at Michalow State Stud, Poland.

DRESSAGE

TA MONET+ (Gazal Al Shaqab X Marieta by Arbil) bred by Michalow State Stud and imported in-utero by Toskhara Arabians. TA Monet+ is a raising star on the dressage scene. He was Top Ten at Sport Horse Nationas in Training Level. At Scottsdale he was 1st and 2nd in two First Level Tests and 1st and 3rd in two Second Level Tests. He was also 4th in a Sport Horse in Hand class. This young stallion is expecting his first foals in 2010.

LIBERTY

TA ARAPAHO (Ekstern X Algira by Balon) bred by Janow Podlaski and imported in-utero by Toskhara Arabians, won his Liberty section and was tied for the 2nd highest score going into the finals. He thrilled the crowd in the Equidome on Saturday evening when Liberty is a featured class. We expect to show TA Arapaho in five year stallions at Las Vegas.

WESTERN PLEASURE

TA OCALA (Kordelas X Oronka by Alegro) 5 year old mare bred by Toskhara Arabians, owned by Dennis & Linda Clark and shown by Stan White III was Reserve Champion in Junior Western Pleasure in a class of 28. She was also the winner of a large class of Junior WP Mares. Previously she was Top Ten Halter at Scottsdale as a yearling and was Top Ten Western Pleasure Futurity at the US Nationals in 2008. Her dam ORONKA (Alegro X Ordynacja by Banat) was bred by Janow Podlaski and imported by Toskhara Arabians.

TA PRELUDE (Kordelas X Promicja by Eukaliptus) four year old stallion bred by Toskhara Arabians, owned by Shamrock Farms and shown by Gordon Potts was Top Ten in the same Junior WP class. He was 3rd on the cards and had previously won the Junior Stallions WP class unanimously. Last year Prelude was Top Ten WP Futurity at the US Nationals. PROMOCJA (Eukaliptus X Premiera by Piechur) was bred and foaled at Michalow and imported by Toskhara Arabians.

Polish horses continue to prove they are both athletic and beautiful… the complete Arabian horse.

EXCITING HORSES!
LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES!
NO ONE LEFT BEHIND!

Join us for the greatest adventure on earth...
Breeding Arabian Horses!

• NEW WEBSITE - with incredible photographs, new additions, video and more click here now... http://www.episodesfarm.com

• STALLION of EXCELLENCE ~ EUROPIA+ ~ *Europejczyk x *Enaria, 15.1 hands. Heartfelt appreciation to Helen I. Slater, Kathleen and William Siegel for enabling our acquisition of their stallion of such excellence, EUROPIA+. Please do reference www.arabdatasource.com for his rather incredible show record in main ring Halter, English Pleasure, Park, and Driving. There, too, one can see for themselves just how well his foals have won! He was, also, the 2004 Scottsdale Champion Liberty Horse. Already nominated for multiple programs, we are offering some uplifting, multiple breeding incentives at least through the 2010 season. This includes some lease options for a few of the complimentary mares already here.

Help us celebrate this wonderful horse and his ability as a sire. We welcome whatever photographs, video footage, and/or any other data that others may have pertaining to EUROPIA+, his offspring, and their respective careers...

Over a span of twelve years, EUROPIA+ competed in 32 documented shows of which 18 were either Buckeye, Scottsdale, Regionals, or U.S. Nationals level competitions. Winning top honors in 43 classes, he competed in main ring Stallion Halter, English Pleasure, Park, and Pleasure Driving. From the time he was a yearling winning the large Breeders Sweepstakes Yearling Colt class at two different Regionals, he evolved into the upright, looking-through-the-bridle English performance champion with the cadenced, elevated, effortless stride.

An even more important evolution from a breeder's perspective is that he has consistently produced foals that have rivaled or surpassed his own accomplishments especially in the halter/ saddleseat arenas.

Please do join us !!! Visit http://www.episodesfarm.com offering some uplifting, multiple breeding incentives at least through the 2010 season.

News From Canterbury Farm

I wanted to let people know that the foaling season has begun this morning with a gorgeous grey (at the moment, chestnut) filly by *Equifor and out of the super producing *Weltawa (*Arbil x *Wilejka). All went very well, and the filly is nursing well. *Weltawa is a sterling mother.

Wiazanka
(*Equifor x *Weltawa)

Weltawa history

*Weltawa has had a foal every year since she has been at Canterbury Farm. There are 2 *Goliat offspring including Wyndikayt, owned and successfully shown by Debi Peebles. Two by Ganges, with one being the spectacular Wiezja Wilejka, (the dark bay full blood sister to Wieza Wiatrow), who had the (possibly grey) black filly by *Equifor last year. Anther *Ganges son of *Weltawa was Walidayt who was exported to Australia. She had two fillies by *Wojslaw, her maternal half brother, and they are both excellent bays named Wielka Wilejka and Wilejka Okazja. The first of the two *Equifor fillies is Wiazanka, an exotic headed grey. The second filly is the 2010 grey (now chestnut) and as of yet, unnamed. She is spectacular! *Weltawa is one of the reasons *Arbil and *Wilejka offspring are so well known for being superb producers.

Wieza Wilejka
(*Ganges x *Weltawa)

Besides *Weltawa with the new filly, all of the *Wilejka daughters here are in foal for 2010 to *Equifor. *Wilenka (Tallin) is due on March 4, *Wybranka (*Piechur) on March 10 and Walencia (*Goliat) on May 10. Will be interesting to compare the 3/4 siblings. A bunch of *Wojslaw daughters are bred to *Equifor too. It is going to be an exciting year!!!

*Weltawa
(*Arbil x *Wilejka by *El Paso)

The remaining January *Equifor foals are out of Paleczka (*Algomej), *Pastoralka (*Wojslaw), *Elwara (*Arbil), Diwa (*Wojslaw) and *Bogatynia (*Europejczyk).

The long 11 month wait is over and the monsoon is here! No sleep for this owner!  Best to all for a wonderful 2010 and foals of your dreams.
